Dragonfly with acrobat skill?

This is my first blog, so I decided to talk a little bit about one thing that I like to do, photography. I enjoy taking picture because I love to see what kind of pretty stuff I can capture. Not all of my photos are good but once in a while when I got a great shot, it makes me smile inside.

Capture this little guy in my backyard. The way it stand is like it was doing a 'hand stand', which is silly because it was standing on all it's 6 little legs.

I used my NikonD5000, and the 70-300mm lens. It was about 2 to 3 feet away from me, and not even afraid, which was cool. I use Aperture Priority with the f/7.1, ISO-100, zoom all the way to 300mm focal length, I like the close up. I have to adjust the Exposure bias to -0.3 step because it was very bright and sunny that afternoon. This picture is not perfect, but it is one of the few that make me smile.
