Banana Pudding ...top with some fresh strawberries.

I cut the original recipe to about half to get this version of the recipe.

2 1/2 cups of milk
1 cup of sugar
1/3 cup of flour
2 eggs
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
2 TBS of margarine or butter
* add all the ingredients above in a sauce pan and cook on a medium heat until thickened.

Vanilla wafers
3 or 4 bananas

This is what the filling mixture looks like when it is start cooking. Don't forget you have to stir the mixture constantly and don't let it stick at the bottom of the sauce pan.

When the filling mixture is thickened and smooth it should look like the photo above.

In a deep baking pan, put in layers -- wafer cookies, sliced bananas, the filling mixture...and repeat. The wafer cookies as topping.

This is the finished product. Covered it and put in the refrigerator to let it chill for few hours.

I fixed this banana pudding with strawberries on top few weeks ago when I had some fresh strawberries.
